  43. Possible false readings

  45. I have checked "RGB File Finder" with TIFF files from DeskPaint 2.01, GraphicConverter 2.2, Painter 2.0 and PhotoShop 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0. I have not received any false readings with this version as tested, but I cannot check for every variable out there. It may stop (very rarely) on...

  47. 1: ﾉcertain TIFF files that are in CMYK mode that "RGB File Finder" thinks are in RGB mode. If you have "RGB File Finder" search by offset rather than for the tag itself, it is possible to get a false reading.

  49. 2: ﾉcertain EPSF files that are in CMYK mode that "RGB File Finder" thinks are in RGB mode. It searches for the string "DocumentProcessColors" in the EPS file header. If it can't find this string it will stop. This is possible with older B & W only EPSF files that don't contain this string in the EPS file header.
